Mystery cannot be hidden forever
āāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāāā
Meanwhile...
In CHAUHAN Palace
The palace never slept.
It only⦠watched.
Long corridors stretched endlessly, lit by flickering torches that barely held back the darkness. Shadows clung to the walls like secrets waiting to be exposed.
And in the middle of it allā
he walked.
Yuvraj Vihaan Chauhan.
Slow.
Controlled.
Silent.
But every step carried authority.
Guards straightened as he passed. No one dared to meet his eyes.
Because they knewā
he noticed everything.
Vihaan stopped.
Right outside the chamber.
Aarika.
A faint smirk touched his lips.
āDilchaspā¦ā he murmured. His fingers brushed against the folded letter hidden inside his robe.
Krittika.
The name itself was becoming a puzzle.
And he hated puzzles he couldnāt solve.
Inside the chamberā
Aarika sat still.
Too still.
Like she was waiting.
Or planning.
Her gaze shifted toward the doorā
just as it opened.
Without warning.
Without announcement.
He entered.
Silence.
Heavy.
Tense.
He didnāt speak immediately.
Just walked in.
Slowly.
Circled her.
Observing.
Analyzing.
Like she was a mystery laid open in front of him.
āAj kuch zyada hi maun hai aap,ā he said finally.
His voice low.
Controlled.
Dangerous.
Aarika didnāt look at him.
"Maun hona bhi kabhi kabhi zaroori hoti hai, Yuvraj,ā she replied calmly.
But her fingers tightened slightly.
A detailā
he didnāt miss.
He stopped in front of her.
Close.
Too close.
āYa phir,ā he leaned slightly, voice dropping, ājab kisi ke paas sach ho⦠to woh chup rehna pasand karta hai.ā
Her eyes met his.
For a secondā
neither looked away.
Then she smiled.
Soft.
But sharp.
āYa jab saamne wala galat parshn pooch raha ho.ā
That made him pause.
Just for a moment.
Thenā
he chuckled.
Low.
Amused.
āGalat parshn?ā he repeated.
A step closer.
āYa phir⦠aap sahi uttar dena nahi chahti?ā
Silence again.
But this timeā
it wasnāt empty.
It was building.
He reached into his robeā
and pulled out the letter.
Not giving it.
Just holding it between them.
āAap isse chah rahi thi na?ā he said softly.
Her eyes flickered.
Just a little.
Enough.
He noticed.
Of course he did.
āAjeeb baat hai,ā he continued, āek hi tarah ki bhaasha⦠ek hi tarah ki sochā¦ā
His gaze darkened.
"Aap log asal mein hai kaun?ā
Aarika stood up.
Now they were face to face.
Equal.
āApko har sach jaanane ki zarurat nahi hoti, Yuvrajā she said.
A beat.
Vihaan smiled.
But this timeā
there was no warmth in it.
āGalat.ā
A pause.
āAb aap log hi woh cheez hai jiske baare mein hume sabse zyada chinta hai.ā
And thenā
he did something unexpected.
He stepped back.
Created distance.
But not control.
That never left him.
āHum aapko kaid rakh sakte hai,ā he said calmly, ādabaav bana sakte hai⦠sach nikalwa sakte hai.ā
A pause.
His eyes locked onto hers.
āPar usme maza nahi aata.ā
Aarika frowned slightly.
āKhel tabhi hi Dilchasp hota hai ,ā he continued, ājab dono khiladi vichar karte hai ki woh Vijay prapt kar rahe hai.ā
Silence.
Thenā
he turned.
Walked toward the door.
Stopped.
Without looking backā
he said,
āRaj Granthagaar jaane ka iraada ho⦠to sambhal ke jaiyega.ā
Aarika froze.
āAndar sirf kitaabe nahi hotiā¦ā
A slight tilt of his head.
āā¦kuch kahaniyaan zinda bhi hoti hai.ā
The door opened.
And thenā
he was gone.
Silence returned.
But it didnāt feel the same anymore.
Aarikaās heart was racing now.
Usse pata hai? Ya sirf guess kar raha haiā¦
Meanwhileā
far from that chamberā
Vihaan walked through another corridor.
His expression unreadable.
But his mindā
working.
Fast.
Raj Granthagaarā¦
He stopped.
A faint smirk appeared.
āChalo dekhte haiā¦ā
he whispered.
āKaun kisko dhundh raha hai.ā
Because tonightā
they werenāt the only ones heading there.
*****************************************
(Back here ....)
The Raj Granthagaar stood still.
Too still.
As if it had been waiting.
Krittika didnāt move for a moment.
The book lay on the floor.
Open.
Silent.
But not harmless.
Her breath was uneven.
Ye sach ho sakta hai kya Nahi⦠nahi⦠itna simple nahi ho sakta⦠kuch aur baat hai jo mujhe click nhi ho rhi hai
She stepped back.
Then another.
Her mind was racing faster than her heartbeat.
Time swap⦠ya kuch aur? Agar ye sach hai to⦠vo logā
She stopped.
No.
Thinking too much would slow her down.
And right nowā
she didnāt have time.
She bent down and picked up the book again.
This timeā
carefully.
As if it might react.
The pages didnāt move.
No glow.
No energy.
Just⦠ink.
Old.
Ancient.
Silent.
But something inside her knewā
it wasnāt over.
āApko mil gaya kya , ap jo dhund rahi thi?ā
A voice.
Behind her.
Calm.
Controlled.
Dangerous.
Krittika froze.
Her grip on the book tightened.
Shit.
Slowlyā
she turned.
Standing at the entranceā
hands behind his backā
eyes fixed on herā
was Yuvraj Vihaan Chauhan.
No guards.
No announcement.
Just him.
Watching.
For a momentā
no one spoke.
The silence between them wasnāt empty.
It was loaded.
Vihaan took a step forward.
Measured.
Unhurried.
āLagta hai⦠aapko raasta mil gaya.ā
His gaze shifted to the book in her hand.
Then back to her.
āYa phir⦠aap raaste se bhatak gayi hai?ā
Krittika forced herself to stay still.
To stay calm.
Control...bas control....usko satisfaction nhi dena hai... Cool down Krittika
She straightened slightly.
āRaj Granthagaar mein aana mana hai kya?ā
A faint smirk appeared on his lips.
āMana nahi haiā¦ā
He stepped closer.
āPar har koi yahan tak pahunch bhi nahi pata.ā
His eyes flickeredā
sharp.
Observing.
Calculating.
āDilchasp,ā he murmured.
"Aap jahan jati hai⦠wahan kuch na kuch badal zaroor jata hai.ā
Her heartbeat skipped.
But she didnāt react.
Didnāt break eye contact.
āShayad aap zyada soch rahe hai, Yuvraj.ā
That made him pause.
Just for a second.
Thenā
he smiled.
Slow.
Dangerous.
āShayad,ā he said softly.
āYa phir⦠hum kam soch rahe hai.ā
He stepped closer.
Now too close.
His gaze droppedā
to the book.
Thenā
without askingā
he reached out.
And closed it.
The sound echoed.
Louder than it should have.
Krittikaās breath hitched.
Donāt react⦠donātā
"Purani kitaabeinā¦ā he said calmly,
ākabhi sirf kahaniyaan nahi hoti.ā
His eyes met hers again.
This timeā
deeper.
More certain.
āWoh sach chhupati hai.ā
A pause.
āYa sach dikhati hai.ā
Silence.
Krittika diverted her gaze for a second then she met his gaze.
āPhir aap kya dhoond rahe hai?ā
That questionā
wasnāt safe.
But she asked anyway.
Vihaan didnāt answer immediately.
Insteadā
he studied her.
As if trying to read something beyond her words.
Thenā
very quietlyā
he said:
āSach."
A pause.
āJo aap chhupa rahi hai.... aur shayad khud se bhiā
Everything stilled.
For a secondā
it felt like the room itself stopped breathing.
Krittika didnāt move.
Didnāt speak.
Didnāt blink.
He knowsā¦? Nahi⦠nahi⦠woh sirf doubt kar raha haiā¦ye uski chal hai .... Use tuo mujhe par pehle se hi doubt tha
Vihaan took a step back.
The distance returned.
But the tension didnāt.
āFilhaal ke liyeā¦ā he said,
āaap yahan akeli nahi aayengi.ā
Not a request.
An order.
He turned.
Walking towards the door.
But before leavingā
he stopped.
Without turningā
he said:
āAgli baarā¦ā
A pause.
ājab aap sach ke itne kareeb hoā¦ā
His voice dropped.
āto sambhal kar chalna.ā
The door opened.
Light entered.
Thenā
he was gone.
Silence returned.
But this timeā
it wasnāt empty.
Krittika stood there.
Frozen.
The book still in her hands.
Her mind racing.
Her heart louder than ever.
Usse kuch pata hai⦠ya woh bas test kar raha hai
She looked down at the book.
Then toward the door.
And for the first timeā
a thought crossed her mindā
one she couldnāt ignore.
Main akeli nahi hoon is game meinā¦
A slow breath.
Her grip tightened.
āFineā¦ā
she whispered.
āGame hi sahi.ā
Her eyes darkened slightly.
"Aur iss baar.... mai haar ne vali nahi hoon"
A pause.
"Chahe samne koi bhi ho."
Because if this was a gameā
she wasnāt going to lose.
But what she didnāt knowā
was that this wasnāt just a game anymore.
And the next move⦠could cost her everything
*****************************************
But ā
Krittika, Aarika and Lakshita
Are the ones who became trapped in this
Brutal Game.....
